The Rural Problems of Practice Toolkit from the State Support Network provides a clear process for teams to use over time to collaboratively address common problems of practice across all types of schools and districts, with a special focus on rural districts.
This resource library serves as a one-stop shop for state educational agency (SEA) and local educational agency (LEA) staff to use in designing, sharing, and refining report cards that meet federal requirements and while also serving as effective communication tools with key stakeholders (e.g., families, business leaders, educators, and civic leaders).
This series will focus on how rural leaders can promote meaningful stakeholder engagement to support system improvement initiatives.
Evidence-based practices (EBPs) – which include activities, strategies, and interventions – are “derived from or informed by objective evidence—most commonly, educational research or metrics of school, teacher, and student performance." This online resource is designed to help districts identify EBPs within each of these categories as part of ESEA implementation.
